Testing With Becci Woods

I had a really fun and productive day of testing in the studio with Recipe writer and food stylist Becci Woods. After weeks of planning we finally met for a coffee and a wander round the prop house in search of props for our upcoming shoot. I say we met for a coffee, what i mean is we both actually ended up in different coffee shops.. a case of crossed wires! Our little wander in prop house turned in to a 3 hour meticulous propping and styling event. Prop houses are great but unfortunately, it’s not till you get to the counter and all your props are boxed up that you realise you have spent £153 pounds on props. However this made us all the more determined to walk away from the shoot with some amazing photography.

We decided upon a very rustic wintery hearty feel. We were both very pleased with the set of images we produced and will hopefully get round to some more testing in the new year! Here’s a glimpse at what we produced:

Looks like the perfect meal for winter! What beautiful photos. I think all that money you spent on the props ended up being worthwhile!

    1. I hate to break it to you but none of these are paleo dishes. They were part of a day of tests I did with a food stylist. stay tuned though. There’s lots of paleo recipes coming 🙂
