Have you been following a paleo inspired nutritional template for awhile now? Are you bored of yet another variation of eggs for breakfast? then check out my awesome recipe for Paleo Granola. This recipe is as usual is gluten free, dairy free, grain free, refined sugar free and is even suitable for vegetarians. My paleo granola is not only perfect for a quick on the go breakfast, it also makes for a great snack! – plus the fact it is made entirely from nuts and seeds coconut oil and honey means it also packs quite a nutrition punch! Have this with a green smoothie in the morning and you have laid the foundations for a nutrient packed day!
Ingredientsย
100g Macadamia Nuts
100g Dissected coconut
100g Flaked Almonds
100g Brazil Nuts
100g Hazelnuts
100g Sunflower Seeds
100g Pumpkin Seed
Directions
Preheat the oven to 150 degrees
Lightly blend your nuts and seeds. Take care not to over blend. You can even blend each portion of nuts individually even you want your nuts to have different consistency.
Add to a mixing bowl and coat with a generous amount of coconut oil, honey and cinnamon, and a few drops of vanilla extract. Make sure all the nuts and seeds are coated evenly
Spread on a baking tray and bake for about 25 minutes until granola is lightly brown.
This looks amazing! We’re going to have to try it! Thanks for posting.
